The Rolling Stones - Satisfaction

Satisfaction Vio la luz en 1965 y fue compuesta por Mick Jagger y el guitarrista Keith Richards. Fue su primer número uno en Estados Unidos. La interpretación hace referencia al retrato de un adolescente atormentado. Según Jagger, refleja "el mundo de los sesenta, las esperanzas de una generación y el cinismo reinante en esos días". Keith Richards describió la canción como: "Dos minutos de Satisfaction y 40 minutos de mis ronquidos", por una sencilla explicación...
Por la forma en que la compuso: "Solo era un riff. Me desperté en medio de la noche y la grabé en una cinta de casette, pensé que era bueno. Volví a dormir y cuando me levanté parecía tan útil como cualquier otra canción. Lo mismo pasó con Mick al mismo tiempo. (...) Las palabras que escribí fueron "I can't get no satisfaction". Pero, de igual forma hubiera podido ser "Auntie Millie's Caught Her Left Tit in the Mangle" ("la tía Millie se pilló la teta izquierda con el rodillo"). Richards ha declarado en distintas ocasiones que esta canción tenía una gran similitud con el tema de Martha & The Vandellas "Dancing in the Street". Satisfaction ha sido versionada por artistas como Otis Redding, Alejandra Guzmán o Britney Spears, por citar algunos.
